A Little About This Family 🤎
Some of the sweetest family memories happen when we slow down, explore somewhere new, and let the little moments unfold naturally. That’s exactly what made this family session at Sand Canyon in Cortez, Colorado, so special!
For their session, we explored the beautiful rock formations and scenery of Sand Canyon. One of my favorite things about photographing families is getting to see the world through little ones’ eyes, and Tate definitely made this session memorable! He was so amazed by all the big rocks. Watching him try to climb up the rocks and explore his surroundings was such a sweet reminder that sometimes the best photos come from simply letting kids be kids.
It was such a fun time exploring together, capturing genuine smiles, and documenting this season of life for them to look back on.
And hearing their kind words about their experience means more to me than they know. My goal with every session is to make families feel comfortable, have fun, and walk away with memories that feel true to them.

Tell me a little about your family!
Our family came be to be in 2016, I was playing in a basketball tournament and had to run to Hibbett’s for some new shoes and ran into Isaiah, the rest has been history 🩷
What was your favorite part of our session?
My favorite part of our session was Tate trying to walk up the rocks and how amazed he was by all of the big rocks. He wanted to take one home. Lol.
What would you tell another family who is thinking about booking a family session?
I think if another family is wanting to book a session, go for it!! Nikole is amazing and super friendly, she makes us feel comfortable and nothing is awkward. She takes pride in her work and always keeps you updated with your photos as well. We had such a blast taking these photos and even got to travel to a location I had never been to before and it was beautiful!!
